KhataBilling provides an auto-generated invoice numbering system to help you save time and maintain consistency. However, you can modify this behavior in two ways:

Auto-Generate Invoice Numbers: Numbers continue from the last entry and are assigned automatically.
Manual Invoice Numbering: Enter invoice numbers manually each time, giving you full control.

You can also define unique invoice number prefixes for each invoice type, such as:

SAL- for Sales Invoices
PUR- for Purchase Invoices
QUO- for Quotations
RET- for Returns
